This event is fully booked and we have opened a waiting list. Please register through the below registration button if you want to join us.
Last year we unfortunately had to cancel this event due to extreme heat. That is why are extra excited to re-invite you for this special family event on Sunday 7 March 2021 in North Sydney.
Marieke van Zutphen, author of the just launched Dutch-Australian children’s book Jack & Lev, will take us on a short walk into the magical world of Sydney. She will also give us exciting insights into the secrets of writing.
The walk will start and finish at Luna park, after a short sensational story about the origin of this theme park, Marieke will introduce us to the secrets of a worldwide treasure hunt. The walk will continue to Wendy’s Secret Garden where the author will read from her thrilling adventure book and we will enjoy a Dutch treat from Koek & Cake. After the presentation there will be an opportunity to get your hands on a signed copy and the kids will get some cool Jack & Lev cards to take home.
Don’t hesitate and register now for this family event! This walk & talk is aimed for a younger audience (6-12) and their parents, but everyone is welcome. This presentation will be held in English; however, since this event is about a Dutch Book for kids, Marieke would prefer to give the presentation in Dutch, but only if all participants agree.
